Who has not already heard the old folk saying “Who has sage in his garden, does not need a doctor”? This plant, used by the ancient peoples of Egypt as well as by the Romans and Greeks, is still cultivated in many gardens of monasteries.

Use and advices:

Infusion

Infuse 1 tablespoon of dried leaves per teacup and let them steep in 100ºC water for about 8-10 minutes before enjoying. We always recommend drinking herbal infusions in slow sips.

1-3 cups/day.

Precautions:

  • More than two weeks of consecutive use of sage is not recommended.
  • Consult your doctor before using sage if you are taking anticoagulant medicine.
  • Respect the recommended intake.
